Meet Daisy! She is an 8 year old, 95lb yellow lab mix that was surrendered by her owner to a shelter in Mississippi.
Personality: Daisy is the kind of dog who makes you smile the moment you meet her. This darling senior is incredibly sweet, friendly, and loves being the center of attention. She settled in beautifully and was content to relax while soaking up every bit of affection she could get. Daisy has a calm, gentle nature and gets along well with other dogs, making her an easy companion to have around.
Training: Daisy is house trained and has wonderful manners in the home. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys leisurely strolls. She is carrying some extra weight, but with a healthy diet, gentle exercise, and a family committed to helping her feel her best, Daisy will thrive in her golden years.
Updates
Darling Daisy certainly lives up to her name – both of them! She is a total sweetheart who absolutely loves to be near her humans. Her tail almost wags off of her body in exchange for head scratches!
Daisy definitely needs to lose some weight but she’s surprisingly mobile. She gets up and down stairs just fine and even gets little zoomie bursts outside. She definitely has a playful side.
She gets along great with my dog and finds my cats to be worth nothing more than a sniff or two. She’s also made friends with the neighbor dog on the other side of my fence.
Daisy appears to be house trained and can be left alone without a crate. She’s a champion sleeper at night, content to lay on the floor in my room.
