Meet Quill! He is a 9 month old, 40lb chocolate lab puppy that was surrendered to a full shelter in Kentucky with his siblings.
Quill is incredibly sweet, gentle, and seems to have a submissive nature. When he was feeling unsure, he will melt right into your lap, soaking up all the cuddles and reassurance he can get. He simply wants to be close to his people and is happiest when he knows he’s safe and loved.

Quill is an extremely friendly and happy pup. Anyone he meets is his new best friend as he welcomes cuddles. Quill is getting along great with our dog, and the hardest thing is making sure they don’t run around a play given he was just neutered. Quill seems potty trained. He doesn’t mind downtime and naps in his crate and sleeps through the night. Very curious and playful, Quill has enjoyed checking out the array of toys scattered on the floor to deter chewing, but shoelaces can be fair game. He allows others to take toys and food from him. Quill also walks great on a leash and has been friendly saying hello to other pups we encounter. We are working on basic training like sitting before getting a treat.
