Mila and Micah are 3 year old black lab bonded pair sisters. They were surrendered by their owner after they could no longer care for them.
Mila and Micah are looking for a home where they can stay together. They are friendly, easygoing dogs who enjoy being part of family life and spending time with their people.
They have grown up with two children—one in early grade school and the other in middle school—so they are very comfortable around kids and enjoy people of all ages. Both girls are affectionate and happy to be included in everyday activities with their family.
Personalities: Mila is the cuddler of the pair and loves affection and attention. She enjoys relaxing close to her people and soaking up all the pets she can get. Micah is the playful one and is especially obsessed with playing fetch. She will happily chase a ball and bring it back again and again.
Both girls are incredibly friendly and loving. They have spent most of their lives together and clearly enjoy each other’s company. While they have not spent extensive time with unfamiliar dogs, they have done well with family members’ dogs and tend to be fairly indifferent to them.
Training: Mila and Micah are both house-trained and crate-trained, making them comfortable with daily routines. They walk nicely on a leash and ride well in the car, which makes them great partners for outings and adventures.
Both sisters are highly food motivated, which helps make them eager learners and easy to train. With their friendly personalities and solid foundation of good habits, they are ready to settle into a new home that will continue to provide love, structure, and plenty of playtime.
