Meet Olive!  She is a 1 year old yellow lab mix that was surrendered after her family could no longer care for her.

Olive came to us while recovering from ACL surgery, and she has already completely stolen hearts. This sweet doll baby is proof that calm and cuddly can absolutely come in a one-year-old package. She has just the right amount of energy—happy and engaged, but wonderfully chill in the house.

Personality:  Olive is affectionate, gentle, and loves being close to her people. She is a big fan of giving kisses and has an easygoing personality that makes her such a pleasant companion. She enjoys relaxing with a good chew bone and has the cutest bedtime routine—carefully arranging her bedding in her crate until everything is just right before settling in for the night. Once she’s tucked in, she sleeps peacefully until you’re up in the morning.

Training:  Olive is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She listens well and is treat motivated, which should make continued training after her recovery a smooth process.

Medical Disclosure:  Olive is currently healing from ACL surgery and will need a total of about 8 weeks of recovery, with the first 2–3 weeks being especially important to keep activity very limited—think leash walks only and plenty of crate rest. She’ll come with the remaining medications she needs, including medication to help keep her calm while she heals.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys the quieter moments and is ready to blossom even more once healed, Olive may be your girl ❤️
