Meet Winslow! He is a 1.5 year old, 50lb lab mix. He is being surrendered by his family after they no longer have the time to take care of him. He is kind, sweet, playful, smart, and energetic. He loves, loves, loves to play!
Winslow loves toys but must be supervised with them since he loves them to pieces! He does best with nylon bones or kong toys (Especially peanut butter filled kong). He also loves to catch tennis balls and frisbees. He loves to play fetch, do obstacles, and play in the water. The baby pool and the hose are his absolute favorite things. He will chase the hose for hours if you let him. He also loves playing with other dog friends. He’ll even play with the cats if the cats let him.
Winslow knows basic commands (sit, down, stay, go to your bed). He is also housetrained. He waits to eat his food until you tell him “okay, go ahead”. He sleeps in his own bed, but if you wanted him to cuddle in bed or on the couch he definitely would! He walks with a harness but gets pretty excited so needs some work on the walking skills.
Winslow would do best in a home where someone is home most of the day and/or has a canine buddy (or buddies) to play with. He loves to be a part of the pack!
