Personality: Treasure is an absolute sweetheart who is incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs. She’s happy, social, and always ready to make new friends! True to her name, Treasure is a little gem of a dog who just needs a family to call her own. She loves to play and has a bouncy, joyful energy that makes her so much fun to be around. Treasure’s playful side shines through when she plays tug-of-war with her leash, making her a silly and endearing companion.
Training: Treasure is still learning some leash manners and does better when walking with a harness to help guide her excitement. She eats her food very quickly — likely due to a history of food insecurity — so she would benefit from using a slow feeder bowl to prevent her from eating too fast and getting sick. While she’s very dog-friendly, she prefers not to share her food with her dog friends. Treasure is eager to please and would thrive with consistent, positive reinforcement as she continues to learn and grow.
