Meet Mike! He is a 9 month old, 33lb doodle / lab mix that was found stray in Kentucky.
Personality: Mike is super sweet and gentle, always eager to be your forever companion. He might jump a bit, but it’s only because he’s excited to show his love. Mike would make the best couch companion and is fantastic with kids. He’s also playful and enjoys the company of other dogs.
Training: Mike is treat motivated, which makes training a breeze. He already knows the command ‘sit’ and is great on a leash. He is also house and crate trained.
Interests: Mike loves spending time with his family, whether it’s lounging on the couch or playing with other dogs. He’s always ready for a fun time, but he also knows how to relax and enjoy quiet moments by your side.
Updates
Mike is such a sweet, caring, gentle dog. He comes in with such excitement and everything is so new to him. He learned how to play with toys and has learned what is and isn’t a toy. Balls are his favorite!
Mike is a social boy and loves both humans and dogs. He loves playing with other dogs….he is so gentle and plays nicely. He is always up to run and chase our dog around the yard. He is so playful! As for humans, he is very affectionate and loves to give people hugs and snuggle at bed time.
As for training, he appears to be both crate and housetrained. He has only had one accident (which is normal when in a new routine). We are starting to learn his cues when he needs to go outside. Mike also does really well in the kennel while I’m at work. I check in on the camera and he sleeps most of the day and doesn’t cry. He is also great in the car. He does hesitate to get in the car at first, but he loves going for rides and looking out the window.
Overall, he is a great dog!! We love him!
