Meet Jack!  He is a 2 year old, 85lb black lab that was found stray. Jack is your typical big, goofy lab!  He loves humans and gets along well with other dogs.

Personality: Jack is a happy, affectionate boy who brings great energy wherever he goes. He’s very sweet, gentle, and loving, and enjoys being around people. While he has a lot of energy, he still shows good manners and a kind, people-focused temperament. He’s the type of dog who’s excited to be involved in whatever you’re doing and would thrive in an active home that can give him outlets for his energy.

Training:  Jack is very well mannered and knows some of the basics. He’s still working on consistency on the leash, but he responds well and shows a lot of potential. With continued structure and regular walks, he should continue to improve quickly.

Medical Disclosure.  Jack is heartworm positive and is in treatment.  CLR will cover the cost of his care

Updates

Jack has instantly melted into our pack.  He was comfortable and confident upon arrival to our homes. We introduce our dogs through the fence, let them sniff each other and see what their actions are like and it was like Jack had known our dogs his whole life, instant tail wagging. We moved to introduce them on leash in the same area and it was clear that there would be no issues from Jack in terms of his ability to get along with our dogs, they  came together to play immediately. It was clear that Jack does not know any strangers.
He’s very comfortable and confident when exploring new areas. He acted like he owned the place when exploring the yard and house for the first time. He respected our cats when they clearly weren’t happy that he was sniffing their face as well.
He’s very playful and loving, allowed on furniture but doesn’t seem to like to be on the couch or bed, does well in the crate when we’re not home.  All in all, he’s a very good boy!
