Meet Gus!  He is a 3 year old, 95lb yellow lab that is being surrendered by his owner due to a move.

Personality:  Gus is friendly with both people and dogs and truly loves everybody he meets. Gus is always thrilled to meet new people and greets the world with pure enthusiasm. He’s the stereotypical Lab in all the best ways—he loves to run, play tug-of-war, fetch, and wrestle with his dog friends. While he enjoys rough-and-tumble play with dogs his own size, he can be incredibly gentle and loving with smaller dogs.

Despite his size and energy, Gus is a sweetheart at heart and an all-around extremely good boy. He rarely barks and has a happy, affectionate nature that makes him a joy to be around.

Training:  Gus is house trained, good on a leash, and knows all of his basic commands. He can even “whisper” on command, which is just as adorable as it sounds. He does have a habit of jumping on people when he gets overly excited, but he is already improving and continues to get better with consistency and guidance. Gus responds well to structure and positive reinforcement.

With his solid training foundation, social nature, and loving personality, Gus would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his energy and continue helping him polish his manners.
