Updates
Chip is the most polite dog I know. He is very laid back and enjoys hanging out with the guys to watch UK basketball game. Chip has been with me for almost a week and sleeps on his bed that he absolutely loves at the end of my bed all night without a sound. Chip absolutely loves the snow. When let out to go potty you can see chip rolling around in the snow and rubbing his face in it. Chip is definitely Mr. Snow. I have never seen a dog like it so much. Chip walks well on a leash. He is not a fan of getting into a car but once in hejust lays in the back without a sound. He hasn’t had any accidents in my house. I do work from home so I am able to let him out quite frequently and he enjoys being out in the yard or laying on the deck. Chip would do really well having a companion dog to help guide him on what to do. In the beginning, he was taking cues from my dog. At first he didn’t like going up or down stairs but he has mastered that now and runs up and down them without any coaxing. Chip has been the most excellent housemate and shows his appreciation with lots of hugs. Anyone would be lucky to have chip.
Volunteer update
Chip is a super chill and gentle Lab mix who gets along great with other dogs. He’s a laid-back guy with a low energy level, happy to just hang out and watch what’s going on around him. Sometimes he gets a little restless and curious, but he never pulls or tries too hard to get his way. Chip is polite and well-mannered with people, making him an easy dog to have around.
Chip walks nicely on a leash and doesn’t pull. He knows the “sit” command, but it might take him a few tries to follow through. The only thing Chip really doesn’t like is bath time—he’s not too fond of water.
