Meet Boondock! He is a 50lb yellow lab mix that was found stray. He has a heart full of adventure and a personality that will win you over instantly. He’s incredibly well-rounded and gets along beautifully with other animals. He has been exposed to dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, horses, and even a donkey! His easy-going nature and sweet temperament make him a great fit for just about any home.
Personality: Boondock is friendly, calm, and very gentle with animals and people alike. He has no issues with resource guarding, whether it’s his food or toys. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the pack and is always happy to share. He’s also not a jumper, so you won’t have to worry about him trying to scale any fences. Whether he’s hanging out with farm animals or relaxing at home, Boondock is always happy and content.
Training: This smart boy walks well on a leash and has shown excellent off-leash recall skills. Boondock recently went on an 8-mile hike and listened perfectly the entire time, making him a perfect companion for long walks, hikes, or even just a stroll around the neighborhood. He’s also great with car rides or even in a golf cart, loading up like a pro and riding like a dream.
Interests: Boondock enjoys exploring new places and would be a great fit for an active family who loves the outdoors. He’s equally happy lounging around with his family, playing with other dogs, or hanging out with farm animals. With his calm demeanor, good recall, and love for humans and animals, he would be a great addition to any family!
