Russel has a story that will break your heart, but this sweet boy still has so much love to give. Through no fault of his own, Russel was abandoned by his family. After his owner moved away and left him behind with elderly parents, he was left in boarding until he eventually landed at the shelter. For a dog who has spent so much of his life without a place to truly call home, Russel deserves a family who will finally make him a priority.
Personality
Russel is friendly with people, dogs, and cats. He’s an active guy for his age and still has plenty of life and love left to share. Despite spending so much of his life in boarding, he’s house-trained and ready to settle into a real home. Russel deserves more than being someone’s afterthought. He deserves a soft place to land, a family to love, and the chance to finally just be a dog.
Training
Russel is house-trained and has experience living around other dogs and cats. He’s still active for his age and would love a home where he can enjoy walks, companionship, and the comforts of everyday life outside of a kennel.
