Meet Bruno! He is a 4 month old, 23lb black lab mix that was surrendered to a shelter in Tennessee. He arrived with his brother, Foghat, who is also available for adoption. (They can be adopted separately)
Personality
Bruno is a big, gentle boy with the sweetest disposition. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves being around his people, but he also has a fun, playful side that comes out when it’s time to play fetch! He’s settling in beautifully and has done wonderfully in the house with both dogs and cats. He’s adjusted quickly and seems to genuinely enjoy being part of a family.
Bruno is easygoing, gentle, and eager to please, making him the kind of dog who is simply wonderful to have around. We think his sweet and tolerant personality would make him a great fit for a family with kids, too.
He’s a special guy with a big heart, and every day we’re getting to see more of his personality shine.
Training
Bruno is a smart boy who is picking up on training quickly. He’s very treat motivated, which makes teaching him new things a lot of fun. He’s doing well on leash and loves getting out and exploring with his people.
He absolutely loves playing fetch and could happily spend time chasing a ball with his family.
Bruno is still working on his potty training and is making steady progress. He’s also learning that his crate is a safe place to relax. He needs a little time to settle down before he can fully relax in his crate, but he’s improving and getting more comfortable with it every day.
Overall, Bruno is a wonderful combination of gentle, affectionate, smart, and playful. He’s making great strides and is ready to find a family who will continue helping him learn while giving him all the love he deserves.
