Meet JR! He is a 3 year old, 92lb lab that was found stray. He arrived to rescue with an anal tumor but after a surgery and lots of love, he is back on the mend and ready to find his forever home!
Personality: JR is the sweetest, most loving boy you’ll ever meet! This big, handsome yellow Lab is a gentle giant. He adores people and gets along great with other dogs and even cats (just no chickens!). He’s been a house dog before and thrives on companionship, always ready to be by your side. One of his favorite things? Going for car rides! He absolutely loves hopping in and tagging along for any adventure.
Training: JR is a very smart boy who picks up on things quickly. He’s well-mannered in a home setting and has experience as a house dog. While we’re still assessing his full range of training, his intelligence and loving nature make him a great candidate for continued learning. He would do best in a home that can provide structure, love, and, of course, plenty of adventures!
