Meet Denver! He is a 1 year old, 50lb black lab that was found stray in Tennessee.
Personality: Denver is a smart, sweet, and fun-loving Lab who’s ready to find his forever home. This handsome guy has been living in foster care for the past month, and he’s come such a long way. He was found as a stray but clearly had someone who loved him once, as he already knew some basic commands when he arrived. Denver is a playful and affectionate pup who loves his toys—He’s a bit of a goofball when it comes to keeping his toys scattered around, but that just adds to his charm.
Denver is sweet and affectionate. While he can be shy at first with new people, he warms up quickly once he realizes you’re a friend. After that, he’ll shower you with kisses and soak up all the attention you’re willing to give.
Denver is great with other dogs and has no interest in cats, so he’d fit in well with most households.
Training: Denver is one smart cookie! He is housetrained and crate trained. He loves his crate – It’s his safe space, and he seems to find comfort there. As for commands, He already knows basic commands. He’s eager to learn and would thrive with someone who wants to teach him new tricks.

Denver has been in foster for the past month. He was a stray who must have been loved at one time. He knows his basic commands. And he is a smart bugger, cause we’ve already taught him to shake since he’s been here.
He loves toys and does not believe that any toy belongs in a toy box while he is around.
He is crate trained and he will go in and sit down whenever he wants to and chill. He likes to do that often. It’s his space.
Dinner time is his favorite, he gets so excited. He is a typical lab when it comes to eating so he might benefit from a slow feed bowl.
Strangers take a minute for him to be comfortable around and he prefers his kennel when a stranger comes
into the room. Once he figures out you’re not stranger danger, he will be your best friend.
He’s good with dogs and has no interest in cats. He gives great kisses and loves attention!
