Meet Knox! He is a 2 year old chocolate lab that is being surrendered by his owner.
Personality: Knox is fun-loving, energetic Chocolate Lab who loves to be the center of attention. He’s happiest when he’s running, playing with people, or hanging out with other dogs. Knox is great with older kids but can be a bit much for toddlers since he doesn’t always realize how big he is. He’s also fine around cats and doesn’t pay them much attention. Knox is very social, but he might need some space during mealtimes as he can show food resource guarding with other dogs.
Training: Knox is both house-trained and crate-trained—just say “go to your cage,” and he’ll head right in and settle down. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and down, but he’s still working on staying calm when he gets excited. Knox is higher energy, so he’ll need a home where he can get plenty of exercise. He’ll happily chase a ball for as long as you’re willing to throw it!
